Talking about today why it's so difficult to switch from a cooked food diet to a raw food diet,
especially when it's time to heal, to do some cleansing, to change your diet, to get rid of foods that aren't helping you,
and bring in foods that can help you.
And then when you do that, something happens.
And that something happens is your stomach gets involved.
And I'll talk about why.
A lot of people, they'll eat small, dense meals, and they'll eat small, dense, cooked meals, right?
Small cheeseburger, a little bit of macaroni and cheese, small bowl of pasta, right?
Maybe something else, too, like small, dense meals of cooked food.
And so when they get used to doing that, many people have in their life where they're just eating three meals a day, and they're small, and they're dense, right?
Like a donut or a bagel with cream cheese.
It's not a lot of volume, but it's a lot of calories because there's usually a fat with a grain.
Or it's a meat that's got a fat in there or a cheese or something like that with it.
Or butter too.
So what happens is people have these dense meals.
and then when they get sick down the road and it's time to start switching gears and start eating more
wild food and herbs and leafy greens and fruits and vegetables and it's time to do that,
it gets kind of scary and they end up getting hungry or staying hungry and not satiated so
they run back to that cheeseburger. They run back to something that's really dense and so let's talk
about why that happens. First of all, if you're eating small, dense meals that are cooked,
there's a large amount of calories within that small, dense meal. So if you have a cheeseburger,
right, a double cheeseburger or just a cheeseburger with cheese on it, and you got the bun and you got
that grease, that grease in that burger, it's a lot of calories, but yet it's not a lot of food.
It's just one burger or one hot dog.
Not a lot of volume right there.
So you eat your hot dog.
You're good.
You move on.
You've got all these calories there.
So what happens is you get sick and now it's, hey, it's time to have bananas.
It's time to have some smoothies.
It's time to have some fruit.
So you move on.
You're told to eat a banana.
And then you're like, okay, I'll have my banana and I should be good for the whole day.
So they'll have then a half a banana.
And they'll be like, okay, that's all I can get in me.
I've seen this over the years so many times where you want me to eat this whole banana,
the entire banana, that is a lot of food.
But here's the thing.
It's not a lot of calories.
That's the difference.
So if you take a banana or a banana and a half,
so I want to show you this, you guys, while we're doing this.
You take a banana and a half, right?
Okay?
Take a look at that, right?
That will equate to a small cheeseburger or a larger cheeseburger right there.
See?
But the cheeseburger, okay, much more denser, a lot more calories.
It's not a lot of calories in these bananas.
So you got to eat more of them to get the calories you would for a cheeseburger.
Something like that.
Same thing with mangoes.
So then we have the mangoes right there too.
Mangoes are juicy.
So then you got the water content right here.
So say you have somebody that has the dense cheeseburger.
And then they switch to a mango and they're like, well, I feel full right now because I had that big juicy mango, but I'm getting hungry again.
The reason why they're getting hungry again is there's not a lot of calories within that mango compared to a dense cooked fatty based meal.
And that's where the confusion goes.
So they're like, oh, I can't just eat fruit.
Oh, I can't just eat leafy greens.
I can't just eat salads and fruit.
I can't eat just a banana and a salad.
I'm going to be really hungry and then I'm going to go off the wagon and go into some dense foods.
And that's what happens to so many people. So let's talk about the stomach for a minute too here.
So our stomach can only hold so much if we've been raised or taught to eat small, dense,
fatty meals. So we're not stretching the stomach that much. The stomach doesn't stretch that much,
right? Unless you're somebody that's eating large cooked meals. That's another story. And we'll go
into that in a minute. So if you're somebody that's eating the small, dense meals that are
fat based, you're not stretching the stomach that much. Okay. So then when it's like, Oh,
I got to eat healthy now, I got sick. I got to eat some smoothies. I'm going to eat a papaya.
I'm going to eat some mangoes and bananas. And it's like, Whoa, I ate that mango. And I'm feeling
even more, more full. And what's happening is the stomach stretching a little, which is natural.
That's okay. There's nothing wrong with that. Okay. But they feel full right at first. We're
like, Oh my God, I can't eat all that. Oh, I can't eat more than a banana. But they end up falling
off the wagon because they get hungry and they're craving now those dense, dense high calories. So
what people don't realize when you're doing the transition, you have to eat more regularly every
A couple of hours is a good way of doing it.
Eating more fruit is a great way of doing it right there.
Getting the leafy greens, getting the celery juice,
all the things that we know about medical medium information, right?
And that helps because then you're getting more calories
and then you're able to heal
and you get to keep out those dense foods that cause problems like cheeses.
They're really dense, those cheeses.
A lot of people will have a nice slab of cheese.
They'll have it on a piece of toast.
They'll put cheese on a pasta dish, whatever it is.
and they won't need a big bowl of it because it's so dense and so high caloric, right?
High calories in there.
And the fats are off the charts in there, right?
Off the chart.
So when it comes down to it, it's about kind of like training,
learning that you can have more than one mango.
You can have a mango an hour later and have two and start getting the calories
that match what someone's used to eating and supersede those calories.
A lot of people, like for instance, oatmeal, it's a dense calorie, lots of calories in oatmeal.
So someone will be used to having a breakfast, they'll have a bowl of oatmeal.
They'll put some fat in there too.
So put cream in there, they'll put butter.
Some people put other things, they'll put almond butter, they'll put peanut butter.
They'll put things like that inside avocado, inside their oatmeal or whatever.
But either way, the oatmeal is really dense and then they'll put fat in there too on top of it.
And oatmeal has a decent amount of fat naturally occurring in there too.
So they'll have their bowl of oatmeal and be like, okay, I feel good. I'm stuffed or they'll have an egg too
So they'll have an egg or two eggs or two hard-boiled eggs
They don't realize it the egg is really packed as far as packed with calorie
Packed with fat, right? And so it's dense
And so when they go and they have a mango, it's not going to equate to the same thing
The egg was giving them in that dense nature, right?
because this is going to assimilate really quickly. It's juicy. It's got a high water content. And a
lot of fruits are like that. And apple is not going to get somebody by in the morning. They'll do two
small hard boiled eggs and that will feel like much more, more satiating versus a big juicy apple,
which the water content fills you up at first, but then it all disappears, right? But it's better
for you than two eggs, right? A mango is better for you than oatmeal with some kind of fat on it.
And the oatmeal is okay, but the point is I'm talking about density and size in the stomach and stretching the stomach.
So a great mistake happens to so many people who are trying to heal as they start to eat a piece of fruit and they're confused.
They're full really quick and then it goes away.
And then they're really hungry and they're like, I can't do fruit.
I can't exist on fruit.
That's not going to happen.
You know, I can't just eat some leaves of lettuce and eat like a rabbit and have some fruit.
and they start getting all like quirky or their dietician or their nutritionist or
the practitioner or healer or doctor kind of believes the same thing. Like, yeah,
fruit's not going to get you by. You're not going to have enough. But what they don't realize
is that it takes a little training with expanding the stomach, which is healthy because if you don't
stretch the stomach a little bit, then what happens is the tissue gets hard in the stomach.
and that's not good for the stomach.
Stomach doesn't do well when it stays the same size all the time, right?
And I'm not talking about stretching it on the level
where you just gobble down tons and tons of foods
and you're not at an eating contest and you're eating,
you're not doing that, right?
So let's talk about overeating.
That's the next part.
So then you could be somebody that overeats cooked food, okay?
You need two double cheeseburgers.
You need two double bacon cheeseburgers.
You need onion rings.
You need a whole thing of fries.
You need, you know, that's just, you need more, right?
You eat six hot dogs instead of one hot dog.
You have a big macaroni cheese.
You have two macaroni and cheese servings.
You have three macaroni and cheese servings.
You have a big pasta bowl, right?
And this isn't about judgment.
This isn't about people overeating or not.
It's not about that.
A lot of people have hard lives.
They eat food because of stress.
They eat food because they're under pressure.
It could be a coping mechanism, whatever it is.
And we've talked about this in medical medium books.
But the point is, if you're somebody that's overeating cooked food,
yes, you're stretching your stomach,
and your stomach is really starting to stretch.
But you're overeating dense, dense calories and fats, right?
Really high levels of that.
So you're not only stretching your stomach by overeating these cooked food meals,
but you're also getting a lot of calories at the same time.
So then when it's time to heal, these people then go to eating a piece of fruit and they're like, oh my God, I'm really starving.
And they go and have a banana and a banana is not enough.
They're used to not only stretching their stomach with large amounts of food, but they're used to the calorie amount in that large amount of cooked food.
So when they go to a one banana, that's when they're like, I can't exist on this.
I can't do this.
They go to one mango, I can't exist on this and I can't do this.
So it's best to do more of the fruit to understand, you know, that that's to actually take up some of that space.
So it takes also a training of the overeating people are getting so many dense calories that they got to scale those calories back.
It's not about matching that calorie.
It's about getting enough calorie.
Right.
And also keeping the stomach happy, too.
so the stomach doesn't shrink down to nothing but also still expanding when you're eating so you can
get two or three bananas in and then you're exercising you can get five bananas in and you
can get two mangoes in at a clip and then you can get a half a papaya in one time another half a
papaya another time they can get a nice leafy green salad and another smoothie whenever you want to
and then of course you could do some cooked food too steamed vegetables or anything else
but it's about scaling back when you're used to eating three double cheeseburgers four hot dogs
you know onion rings big things of macaroni and cheese i'm just using those examples how about
half a pizza or a whole pizza and then scaling back and eating healthy but not eating this much
of the healthy foods but more of them anyway i'm talking about stretching the stomach and how that
works you guys this concludes this video about that and we'll talk about this more as soon as
we can. Thank you for watching.
